Riverdale Catholic

St. Margaret of Cortona located in North Riverdale and St. Gabriel located in South Riverdale / Spuyten Duyvil, are two Roman Catholic parishes that have served the faithful of these neighborhoods of the Bronx, New York since their respective foundations in 1887 and 1939. In 2015 they were merged into one parish, but the mission remains the same--the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the sanctification of souls through the sacraments of the Church He established on earth for the salvation of all men.
